Last year we were the Waste Wise School of the Year. As part of our prize we won a trip to the Zero Waste Zone in Henderson. In week 9 of Term 3 the Wastewise team took a trip out to see what they do there. We learnt a lot about what happens to the waste that we throw out, how we can be more wise about the waste we create and how to reduce our waste.
It was a lot of fun, thank you so much Mrs T! Lets keep being waste wise!!!
